The Arcade Ambiance Project by Andy Hofle. From Andy's web site: The arcade ambience project is an attempt of mine to simulate the audio ambience of a crowded arcade room during the golden age of arcades in the 1980s.  This is a sound I think that has been lost over the years and does not exist in today's pitiful arcades in my opinion.  My main motivation for this project was to create some ambience in my basement arcade, having a somewhat authentic arcade background hum while I or my guests  play on my MAME arcade cabinet. I thought that maybe others who have cabinets (or just miss real arcade nostalgia) could also benefit from my work...

Pac-Man Pasta Commercial. Audio from the Pac-Man Pasta Commercial from the 1980s. Boy, only the lucky kids got this stuff! Click the icon to hear the commercial.

Pac-Man Cartoon Intro Music. From the original 1980s Hanna-Barbera cartoon, this is the original title theme song. It should sound very familiar to players of the 1984 Pac-Land arcade game - it's the same song! Click the icon to hear the song.

Pac-Man Fever Unplugged by Buckner & Garcia. Here's a link to some more special content - an "Unplugged" version of Pac-Man Fever! It features an acoustic rendition of Pac-Man Fever with a solo vocal performance by Gary Garcia. It's part of the "Crap from the Past" broadcast, which is hosted by Ron "Boogiemonster" Gerber and is heard every Friday night from 10:30 to midnight on KFAI-FM, 90.3 FM Minneapolis and 106.7 FM St. Paul. It's also rebroadcast on seven other affiliates around the globe. It was recorded in 1998 for the syndicated radio show "Retro Rewind", but appeared on the 1999 CD "Now And Then", which was a collection of odds and ends from Buckner and Garcia, and was sold only through MP3.com web site. It is no longer available for sale, so this is the only way you can get the song. Right click the link and pick "Save Target As" to download it.

Get Victimized! by R. Cade and the Video Victims. The credits on the back of the album list John Lombardo and D. J. Michaels, so that's apparently who R. Cade and the Video Victims are. Here are links to all 10 of the original 1982 recordings of Get Victimized! by R. Cade and the Video Victims. These are the original songs and they have been converted to MP3 format. They sound great! These songs were similar to the Pac-Man Fever album of songs and feature songs about arcades and the games Defender, Donkey Kong, Frenzy, Ms. Pac-Man and Scramble.
